This week‘s Saturday competition took place at La Enviá, tee times in Almerimar being impossibe to get because of a large Spanish Federation competition.

19 players participated and were fortunate enough to enjoy pleasant weather until rain arrived shortly before the later groups completed their round.

This week‘s format was individual Stableford with separate competitions for ladies and men. The course proved challenging and this was reflected in the scores.

For the ladies first prize went to Dot with 34 points, second was Nina (30 points) and third was Kristina (29 points).

For the men 2 players had 33 points with Paul getting first prize on better back 9. Barry was second, Mel third (29 points) and Steve fourth (28 points).

After the prize giving at La Enviá the majority of players adjourned to Almerimar for drinks and Tapas at Marios.

Next Saturday we have tee times in Almerimar again at 10.58 on the Masters.
