After about half an hours play the sun came out to make a glorious golfing day. Once again there were some very good scores. Over half the players recorded scores of 30 points or more

Best of the day and guaranteed a prize were Sylvia Green and Doug Kemp 37 points, Michelle O'Keefe 39 points and a great 40 points from John Flynn.

Following golf, drinks and tapas were enjoyed in the open air at Algarbe, after which the prize presentation took place.

Michelle played a shot to 2m 68cm to claim nearest the pin.

Following the surprise draw Rosemary Moody was paired with Sylvia for fourth prize, third prize was received by Lee Goulder and Michelle, John and Lilian Jönegrd claimed second prize leaving Doug and Larry Rowe with first prize.

Next week first tee time is 11.04 on Classic followed by 13.12 on Masters 1.
