Monday 17 July 2017

It was a lovely sunny and hot day, but unfortunately the wind decided to join us again making golf that much more tricky. Nevertheless 11 of the 25 players managed to score 30 or more points.

Best of the day were 3 players with 32 points Rosemary Moody, John Flynn and Tony, with Tony qualifying for a prize with the better back 9. Robbie MacMillan scored 33 points, Pepe Diaz 35 points and a tremendous 36 points from Joan and Peter Edgington's 16 year old granddaughter Chloe.

Following golf, drinks and tapas were enjoyed at Bar Manolo.

Nearest pin prize was awarded to John Witham for a shot to 3m 84cm

A blind draw took place and Joan Edgington joined Pepe for 4th prize, Rosemary Moody and Tony received 3rd prize, Robbie and Andy Jameson 2nd prize and Drew McDowell joined Chloe for 1st prize.

Next week first tee time is 10.34 0n Masters 1 and 2.
