What a wonderful day. Near perfect golfing weather greeted the 46 players who were separated into two groups to play White & Red and Blue & White courses, which proved to be a great success.

In addition, the courses are now coming into really good condition, and there is a degree of roll on the fairways.

Unsurprisingly all this resulted in good scores with 27 people returning 30 or more points. There were 7 people with 36 points but after checking back 9/6/3 Vicky Thomas and John Flynn had the better scores. On 38 points was Agneta Adolfsson, 39 points Michelle O'Keeffe and best of the day a great 42 points from Rosemary Moody.

Excellent tapas and drinks were enjoyed at Los Sabores where John Flynn with a shot to 2m.30cm.on White & Red course and Paul Miles, a shot to 1m.31on Blue and White course were presented with Nearest Pin prizes.

Following the surprise draw Vicky was joined by Kristina Olsson for 5th prize, 4th were Rosemary and Doug Kemp, for 3rd prize Richard Oberg joined John, 2nd Michelle and Margaret Scannell, with first prize being awarded to Agneta and Jan Sjöstrom.

Next week will be an away day at La Envia, tee time,10.30.
