The sun had returned to Almerimar but it was significantly colder than before the midweek rain and only the bravest or most foolhardy were still wearing shorts.
39 players took part in a team competition, the format being best three scores.
The results were close with only 7 points separating the first nine teams.
Winners with a very good score of 117 points were the team of Sune, Herman, Anita and Dot, second with 116 points were Mel, John G, Isabel and Jan, and third with 114 points and lower total team handicap were Pepe, Barry, Marie-Anne P and Lee.
Next Saturday, contrary to earlier information, there will be a competition organised by Nina.
