A sunny if rather humid day saw ten players take part in a blind pairs better ball competition.
The speed – or lack of speed – of the greens continues to be challenging, as did the tee positions since they had already been placed for Sunday’s competition.
First prize went to Vicky and Mel with a very good 44 points, with second prize going to Michelle and Paul T with 40 points and a better back 9 then Rudolph and Brian, who also had 40 points.
Drinks and prize giving were in the clubhouse to enable players to get away quickly for England’s World Cup game.
