29 players took part in this week’s twice round the Classic (Masters 3). We started on a warm, sunny, wind free day but this changed dramatically after two hours when a sea fret descended on the course, reducing both temperature and visibility considerably.

We played a competition in 2 parts – a reverse waltz on the first circuit and best two with scores on even holes doubled second time round.

In first place with a very good score of 118 points were John Wi, Mari-Anne P, Lennart and Dot. The second and third teams both had the same total and the same score for each part of the competition. They were separated using the better back 6 with second place going to John Fl., Mike , Avril and Doris. Third were the team of Louise, Rolf, Rosemary and Doris.

Drinks, tapas and prize giving were at Mario’s Bar.
