Despite being in an unsettled period weather-wise, today was an almost perfect golfing day. Very little wind and periodic sunshine resulted in good scores.

21 of 34 golfers returned 30 or more points with best of the day and guaranteed a prize being Sune Jönsson 36 points, John Flynn 39 points, Steve Bradbury 41 points and a tremendous 43 points from Fiona Holden.

Drinks and tapas were enjoyed in Los Sabores where Jose Maria received a prize for nearest the pin.

Following the surprise draw John and Rosemary Moody received first prize, Fiona and Herman van del Vlis second prize, Steve and Judy MacQuillan, third prize and Sune and Jose Maria fourth prize.

Next week first tee time is 12.40.
