Our return to the Classic course found greens somewhat slower, but more receptive but in great condition. However in some areas the rough was punishing particularly in "the middle of fairways". Nevertheless 8 of 19 players returned scores of 30 or more points.

Mel Moody and John Flynn scored 33 points, John having better back 9, Elaine MacMillan 34 points and Lawrence Perkins 35 points were best of day.

Drinks and tapas were enjoyed in Stumble Inn, where John Flynn received nearest pin prize and following the surprise draw Mel Moody, Joan Edgington and Yvonne van der Vlis joined the three best scorers for prizes.
