It was a tough day for the 21 competitors, the course played long (tees were well back), the rough was punishing and greens slow consequently scores were reflected accordingly.

Only 4 players scored 30 or more points, Jim Shaw 35 points, Anita Gronskog 31 points, Bob Lowry 30 points and Elaine MacMillan 30 points.but all guaranteed a prize.

However for second week running, Paul Miles last week and Bob Lowry today scored eagles (see website honours board).

Following the surprise draw Paul Miles joined Elaine for first prize, Jim and Bill Egan second, Anita and daughter Madelena third and Rosemary Moody joined Bob for fourth.

Nearest pin prize was awarded to Paul Miles.

Next week first tee time is 12.40 White & Red and Blue & White.
