A beautiful sunny day with a gentle breeze were ideal golfing conditions which resulted in 12 players having 30 points or more. But you had to have scored 39 points or more to be in the prizes this week.

Best of the day was Paco with 41 points, closely followed by Des with 40 points and then Michelle and Robbie with 39 points.

However, after the surprise draw the results changed some what with Robbie being drawn with his wife Elaine (who had 37 points and on another week would have been in the prizes herself), to take 1st, Des was drawn with Sune to be 2nd, Paco was drawn with Larry for 3rd and Michelle was drawn with one of her playing partners John N to be 4th.

Nearest the pin with a shot of 0.80 cms was Des and he got his biridie.

On behalf of myself and all who play in Monday Golf I would like to take this opportunity to thank Marianne and Sune for all their hard work organising Wednesday Golf and wish them save travels back to Sweden and look forward to seeing them both in the Autumn.

Drinks and tapas were enjoyed once again at The Stumble Inn.
