This week we were joined by our friends from Los Mariscos, Motril and we played a Stableford team game with 2 scores to count. Also each player had to keep there own score as there was a prize for the best side.

There were two really good scores of 41 points for John Fi and Mark (guest) but unfortunately no prize only a handicap cut for John!!

The prizes this week were wine and cava.

1st prize went to the team of Nina and Mick Cl, (Almerimar), Stuart and John C (Los Mariscos) with 85 points.

2nd prize went to the team of John Fi, Issy and Joan (Almerimar) and John H (Los Mariscos) with 84 points.

3rd prize went to the team of Steve and Mark (Almerimar), Kurt (Los Mariscos) and MATE with 83 points.

4th prize went to the team of Rosemary and Barry (Almerimar), Gordon and Martin (Los Mariscos) with 82 points.

Overall the winning side was Almerimar with a total of 248 points to Los Mariscos with a total of 171 points taken from the best 7 scores on each side.

Nearest the pin went to Mick Cl with a shot of 6.32m.

Everyone seem to enjoy the day and we are hoping to have a re-match in September.

Drinks and tapas were taken at The Stumble Inn.

Next week our first tee time is 10.32.
